About Paws & Claws Grooming

Gentle care, one appointment at a time

We focus on puppy first visits, gentle familiarization, and short comfort-led grooming for pets that need extra time and care.

Calm grooming for young and sensitive pets

Paws & Claws Grooming is a quiet one-to-one studio in Vissenbjerg, built for dogs that are new to professional grooming or need a slower approach. Each appointment starts with a careful look at temperament, coat condition, and handling comfort so the session can begin at the right pace.

We work in short, staged sessions when needed, and we may pause, adjust, or stop if a pet shows significant stress or another welfare concern. The aim is a practical grooming experience that respects the pet in front of us, not a rushed finish.

What guides us

The values behind every appointment

Our approach is designed for puppies, sensitive pets, and dogs that need a slower introduction to grooming.

C1

Careful intake

We begin with a temperament and history inquiry so we can plan a visit that suits the pet's comfort level and the coat's current condition.

Q1

Quiet setting

Appointments are private and quiet, with one household scheduled at a time and no waiting area, helping reduce unnecessary stress at arrival.

S1

Flexible pacing

Short-session and staged grooming options let us work in manageable steps, with scope adjusted to the pet's response during the visit.

N1

Clear handover

We provide a written grooming summary and practical home coat-care notes so you leave with clear next steps between visits.

Our story

A studio built around calm progress

Since 2019, the studio has focused on building confidence through calm handling, clear communication, and realistic grooming plans.

The studio was shaped around a simple idea: some pets do better with a quieter environment, shorter sessions, and a familiar routine. That is why we offer pre-visit guidance, quiet arrivals, and grooming plans that can be adjusted as needed.

For puppies and grooming-anxious dogs, we may begin with a familiarization visit or a short comfort-led groom rather than a full service. This gives us space to assess what is comfortable and what should wait for another appointment.

When coat condition or behaviour means a requested style is not practical or comfortable, we explain the options clearly and recommend a sensible finish. Every appointment ends with a calm handover and, when useful, written notes for home coat care.
